CHOCOLATE PECAN MARTINI

THE CHOCOLATE PECAN MARTINI

 After I made my Candied Pecan Martini, which I posted yesterday, with my candied nut and pecan liqueur I just had to make a Chocolate Pecan Martini because I'm an affirmed chocoholic.  I simply switched out the vanilla vodka with chocolate vodka and added a nice sprinkle of shaved dark chocolate on top of the martini!  The chocolate is subtle and but it's there as a wonderful back note - kind of a little surprise at the end of your sip.  Can't beat the combination of chocolate and pecans!
 
To make this martini you will first need to make the Candied Nutz and then the Candied Pecan Liqueur which takes at least a week to infuse.  You can enjoy the remaining Candied Nutz while you wait for your liqueur to mature.
