On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me a
PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR MARTINI!
Traditionally in England, the twelve days of Christmas are celebrated starting on Christmas Day or possibly even Boxing Day (aka St. Stephen's Day), the day after Christmas. Also know as Christmastide or Twelvetide, this Christmas celebration ends on January 5th and is then followed by the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6th.
Since this is a perfect cocktail for the famous "Twelve Days of Christmas Song" and for the holiday season I have decided that the twelfth day before Christmas is an excellent First Day of Christmas here in Martini Diva Land!
